Sometimes when it rains...

Sometimes when it rains, it gives one time to reflect on other considerations. Hoping to not get stung on the cost of some of my interests, I decided to enroll in an MCC course in beekeeping. 5 weeks of basics that I've read about, and not had first-hand experience or support. I've been working with a very knowledgeable friend in Iowa and with his contagious enthusiasm I was hooked. Probably won't start my first hive until next year, so this year will be devoted to gathering information and tagging along.
And as if that isn't enough, the bite from the curiosity bug (not to be confused with the Aedes aegypti bug) got me into the WordPress arena. I saw it when it was more or less a blog mechanism (more like a B.B.S.). But over the years, it seems to have evolved into a CMS mechanism. Just what I needed, another obsessive preoccupation. After a decent learning curve, say over the summer, I can look into Bluehost or SiteGround (like the look) for server support. But, that will have to wait until I get more proficient with the software and find all the hidden cost factors involved with such a venture. I have a friend (different club) who expressed a desire for a website that was WordPress based. Not completely sure why, as it is probably something he saw in the "look"and no particular knowledge of all the things involved. Ah, another fork in the yellow brick road to the web.
