Is there a vision?

If the last vision education was 1 to 1, where are we now? Most of the schools I've taught in the last few years are not on the this bandwagon. Even the local grade schools my grandchildren attend are not up to speed on the topic. From all appearances, the web hasn't kept track of the percentage of schools adopting the proposal. We are currently mired in the one pencil, one piece of paper, one desk to one student model. What is the next vision?
